Blot with cold water
Blot with room temperature water
Freeze or harden with ice and scrape away excess
Apply Kirby Multipurpose Spot Remover per instructions
Apply Kirby Food Stain Remover per instructions
Apply Kirby Grease and Oil Stain Remover per instructions (do not soak carpet)
Apply club soda
Apply dry cleaning solvent (nonflammable)
Apply diluted ammonia (2 tablespoons in 1 cup water)
Neutralizer (1 part white vinegar in 2 parts water)
Hair spray (aerosol)
Nail polish remover
Apply Kirby Pet Stain and Odor Remover per instructions

When using spot removal techniques, always:

  1. Test a hidden area of carpet for cleaner compatibility.
  2. Act quickly.
  3. Remove bulk of soil, whether liquid or solid.
  4. Blot up stains, don't rub.
